This year’s Thanksgiving Basket Drive was nothing short of amazing. Here’s a look at what we accomplished together: ?? 374 baskets were donated by generous individuals and companies. ?? We supplied 89 baskets for Enka in Winchester, which they delivered to local residents. ?? 46 baskets were delivered to residents in Woburn. ?? And on Tuesday, we distributed approximately 325 baskets and the same amount of turkeys to families in need. A massive thank you to everyone who donated or volunteered—you made this possible! Special thanks to our incredible Food Pantry Director, Paula Matthews, for orchestrating this event and ensuring so many families had food on their tables for the holidays. Here’s to starting the holiday season with kindness and community spirit! ?? #ThanksgivingDrive #CommunityLove #Grateful #GivingBack

We had an amazing time at Everett Bank’s event on Tuesday evening! We’re honored to be one of four Woburn-based nonprofits awarded a $2,500 grant, which will go toward our Food Pantry—already providing over 265,000 meals to families in need in our community. This grant will be a huge help in continuing our mission! Thank you to Everett Co-operative Bank for their support and for bringing our community together. Also receiving grants were our friends SCI Social Capital Inc., Connor's Kindness Project, and the Tanner Ta Ta Foundation —congrats to all!

We just wrapped up our 18th Annual Golf Tournament in memory of Philip J. Casey, and what an amazing day it was on the green! This year, we had a blast with the addition of our Golf Ball Cannon, adding some extra fun to the competition. Thanks to our generous supporters, we raised $20,000! These funds will go directly towards continuing the important work we do here in the community. Grateful for everyone who helped make this event a success!

We are deeply honored and grateful to be awarded $500,000 in capital funding! This generous support will allow us to renovate our facilities and continue providing essential early education. Thank you, Massachusetts Department of Early Education & Care for investing in the future of our community!
At East Boston Social Centers, Commissioner Kershaw and Secretary Tutwiler announced that 20 organizations across Massachusetts are being awarded $8.5 million in capital funding to renovate early education and out-of-school time program facilities. Thanks for joining us, Director of Outdoor Recreation Paul Jahnige, Senator Sal DiDomenico, and Rep. Adrian Madaro! This investment will support renovation projects to expand capacity and improve the indoor and outdoor quality and accessibility of learning environments for children, ensuring they have safe, healthy, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate spaces to learn, play, and grow. As part of the Administration's whole-of-government approach to addressing climate change, and in collaboration with the Climate Office, projects were prioritized that focused on clean energy and decarbonization. Projects that included security enhancements to prevent and respond to potential threats, such as active shooters and installation of security cameras and access control systems, were also prioritized. Big shoutout to Will, a young community hero, who turned a weekend lemonade stand into a force for good! Not only did he support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, but he also raised money for local Woburn charities, including Council of Social Concern. Will proves that no matter your age, you're never too young (or too old) to make a difference in your community. Thank you, Will, for your inspiring generosity! #CommunityHero #YoungLeader #MakingADifference #SupportLocal #WoburnCares #GiveBack #Inspiration #CouncilOfSocialConcern #StJude #LemonadeStand #KidsHelpingKids #CommunityLove
