From the help and support of the community, WKMG News 6's corie murray not only exceeded his goal of how many families he could support this Thanksgiving but he also has warmed the hearts of his teammates another year in a row. Emily McLeod got to see Corie in action, passing out turkeys to families at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida's Walt Disney World Clubhouse in Pine Hills. She comments, "it’s so refreshing to see my coworkers view our tagline 'Getting Results' as more than good branding or a catchy slogan. It’s something we truly believe in both in the newsroom and in our day-to-day lives." "Corie is such a genuine, kind person who truly wants the best for everyone. Seeing Corie shine while serving our community has been such a joy for me ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday! Corie wanted to help a few dozen people when he first started this mission last year, but he has surpassed that goal and because of him, hundreds of Central Florida families will have a turkey on their Thanksgiving table."
