We’re thrilled to share the impact of our recent food drive for Kellogg Community College and our Cereal Sale for United Way of South Central Michigan! Thanks to the generosity of our WK Kellogg Co team at headquarters, we collected almost 2,000 pounds of food to support the KCC Bear Necessities Student Food Pantry—benefiting students facing food insecurity. In addition, in partnership with Post Consumer Brands, we raised a combined $16,000 during our National Cereal Day Cereal Sale, to support local programs and services. Together, we’re not just sharing cereal—we’re creating joy and connection and making a difference. Thank you to everyone who contributed! #FeedingHappiness?

Snap! Crackle! Pop! —a sound that has delighted cereal lovers for nearly a century! This week, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies celebrates 97 years of bringing joy to cereal bowls. Since hitting shelves in 1928, Rice Krispies has been known for its signature sound when mixed with milk—so much so that it inspired Kellogg’s first-ever spokescharacters! The words Snap! Crackle! Pop! first appeared in advertising in 1929, and by 1933, the now-iconic gnome characters began to take shape. From comic book heroes during WWII to their first TV debut in 1952, these three have remained a beloved part of our culture. Beyond the fun and nostalgia, Rice Krispies is made with just four simple ingredients, plus essential vitamins and minerals, making it a delicious and wholesome choice. Do you have a favorite Rice Krispies memory? Share it with us in the comments!?

Our founder, W.K. Kellogg, believed in the power of giving back—a legacy that continues to inspire us today. As we celebrate 119 years today, we’re honoring that legacy by bettering our communities. This year, WK Kellogg Co Headquarters is hosting a food drive for Kellogg Community College (KCC) to help provide essential nourishment to students and their families. In the last year, KCC’s Bear Necessities Student Food Pantry has benefited over 500 students—positively impacting more than 1,600 family members in their households. We’re also encouraging our other office locations to support their local food banks and pantries to commemorate this special day. Giving back is in our DNA, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to continue making a difference. Here’s to 119 years of bettering our communities—together! #WeAreWK #FeedingHappiness
