Teachers choose courses to develop their own unique skill sets to better meet students’ needs and enhance classroom learning experiences. #WeAreWJCC

Each year the WJCC Schools Calendar Committee works within guidelines shaped by state law, district policy, employee contracts, and established practices to develop future academic calendars. On behalf of the Calendar Committee, administration presented the recommended 2025-2026 calendar to the School Board on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. At its meeting on October 1, the WJCC Schools School Board accepted the retirement of Superintendent Olwen Herron, Ed.D., effective January 31, 2025. Herron has served as superintendent in WJCC Schools since February 2017 and was acting superintendent and deputy superintendent for five years prior. https://lnkd.in/eKwzCWeU
