Sharing one of our favorite business #ClientWins from this month ?? When we say we want to start giving you time back immediately —?we mean it! This client had only been working with a Sundays executive partner for *one week* when we received this message: "Truly woke up so relieved and grateful to have you. Feeling like I can actually ... get stuff done now??" ?? In those first few days, were able to jump in and handle: ?? Swapping their business meeting platform to save them $$ -- which meant handling cancellation of the current subscription and finding the most cost-effective replacement that still met their business needs and transferring meeting details over ?? Creating a recurring weekly recap email template tailored for each client ?? Setting up new, branded Calendly pages for each type of recurring client meeting ?? Updating their business website with current client logos We say it because it's true: When you work with a Sundays EA, you get a high-impact, strategic partner —?and lots of your time back ??

Our matchmaking method for pairing clients with the perfect Sundays EA is at the heart of our success. ?? It’s one part operational science and one part chemistry magic ?? We consider the specific professional expertise needed to support you and/or your business. But we put just as much effort into selecting an EA who shares your preferred communication style and personal sensibilities. Because it’s not just what we can get done for you, but *how* we do it — in a way that naturally fits in with your day-to-day life. Gold Strand Strategies and Alex Tsuneta (and Barbra ??) are an example of the Sundays matchmaking magic at work. We can’t wait to see what they achieve together! Are you ready to meet your match on the Sundays team? Let’s get started today — see the comment section for step #1!??

    Nurturing Growth & Embracing Neurodiversity

I think the best part about working at Sundays (and honestly, there are so many amazing things to choose from) is getting paired with a client who just *gets you*. Last week I was paired with an amazing client, Gold Strand Strategies, and we instantly connected on our love of animals. Lisa's cat, Pete, stole the show in our first meeting, and this week my dog, Barbra, was center stage. I love connecting with new clients, learning about their families, their businesses, their passions, and maybe most importantly, their pets (ok, maybe not *most* importantly). Lisa, you and Pete are so much fun and I love working with Gold Strand Strategies! ?? #withsundays #executiveassistant #clientappreciation

    Nurturing Growth & Embracing Neurodiversity

I can't express how much I adore this team. ?? Our weekly "show and tell" sessions are filled with laughter, tears, and valuable insights as we exchange tips and tricks from our daily work. We love this time together so much that we even extended the meeting by 15 minutes each week. I came from a toxic work environment and joining Sundays has been a breath of fresh air. Collaborating with such inspiring and supportive people every day feels like a dream come true. We'll miss you dearly, Ashley Chang! Enjoy this precious time with your family and your new baby, we'll hold down the fort for you until you're back (and please send us all the baby pictures). ??

Helping parents get time back | CEO at Sundays

I showed up for my last team meeting before leave with an agenda… everyone else showed up like this ?? I am so blown away by the care and thoughtfulness that the team at Sundays shows every day. Especially when it’s directed at me. If you’re wondering what parenting advice you can get from a team of 30 parents & caregivers, here are just a few of my favorites: ???Go outside every day –?even 10 minutes makes a big difference. ???The best gift you can give your kids is to see them, in their best and hardest times ???Sleep in shifts! ???Accept all the help you can get ???Let people take pictures of you, even if you feel like you don’t look your best, you’ll cherish them later. ???Trust your instincts. ???”There will be days when you feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or like you’re not doing enough. On those days, give yourself grace. Know that you are doing your best, and that’s more than enough. You are learning, growing, and adapting as you go. So take a deep breath, celebrate the small wins, and remember that it's okay to not be okay sometimes.” I didn’t know that a virtual baby shower was the sendoff I needed, but they did ?? — I’m Ashley Chang, co-founder of Sundays, an executive assistant service for working parents. We help parents get focused time back at work and quality time back with family.

Refining the way clients start and end the work day makes a HUGE difference. Here's a look at how we think about it: ?? The beginning and end of the day are crucial *bookends* Bookend #1 --> This is that first-thing-in-the-AM block for setting the stage. We intentionally do not recommend using it to play catch-up on yesterday. ?? Morning: Note urgent follow-ups (but *hold on responding* until you've assessed all priorities), review the present day's schedule, and align on your day’s focus. No getting lost in emails or Slack black holes! Bookend #2 --> 30-60 minutes before stepping away. ?? Evening: Reflection and prep. Tie up loose ends (sometimes this means saying 'I'll get back to you by EOW' vs. having an immediate answer) and outline tomorrow’s top priorities. When these bookends are clearly defined, our clients are able to lead with clarity. How do you structure your start and EOD? Leave notes about your routine below for others to borrow ??

    Professional Problem Solver

Mentorship & Support. These two words sum up the last three years of my journey navigating parenthood, career growth, and everything in between.?Becoming a mom in 2022 was life-changing in the best way, but balancing life as a single mom, soccer coach, professor, and executive assistant has taken a lot of hard work and even more support. I’ve learned that wearing many hats isn’t about doing it all alone - it’s about leaning on the right people.?I’m grateful to the parents who have shared their wisdom with me, reminding me that “there’s no way to be a perfect parent, but there are a million ways to be a good one.” On the field, I’ve been incredibly lucky to have mentors who have guided me, two, who I now get to work alongside. That full-circle moment means everything to me. The lessons I learned from my playing career (both good and bad) help me be a better coach, mentor, and resource for my athletes as they figure out who they are and who they want to become.?At Bakersfield College, I get to be part of building a top-level program with a focus on player development. I just wrapped up my second season at Liberty High School with back-to-back undefeated league titles and assisting my mentor in winning back-back Central Section D1 Championships has been special, not because of the wins, but because of the values we instill and memories we’ve created. To us, who our athletes become off the field matters even more than their success on it. Because the reality is, sports end, but character doesn’t. That same passion for mentorship and problem-solving is what I love most about being an Executive Assistant—building relationships, supporting incredible leaders, and sharing knowledge with some of the best people I’ve ever met: other EAs. The EA community is unmatched in its willingness to help each other. Let’s be honest, only we truly understand the magic (and chaos) of scheduling committee meetings with multiple execs who have jam-packed schedules and need them to happen in two days, those are the fun ones right? That’s why I’m beyond excited to join?Sundays, where our mission is to "accelerate parents in their careers while creating more quality family time."?Sundays?gives me the flexibility to truly have it all and push back against the narrative that parents have to choose between their kids, careers, and personal passions. We can have it all—with the right support. If I wasn’t working here, I would definitely be a client. I’m thrilled to be part of a team led by Ashley Chang, that’s making this possible for so many families. I can’t wait to work with our clients—both on the business and family side—to make that a reality.

I just signed up for Sundays newsletters, and the first email stopped me in my tracks. The subject line? “This is your brain on family.” And the infographic? Spot on. Before kids, my brain operated in a straight line—work, meals, a few to-dos, and evening plans. Now? It looks exactly like the image on the right. A constant swirl of schedules, school emails, last-minute needs, and a million little mental tabs open at once. But here’s the thing—I wouldn’t trade this organized chaos for anything. Giving myself grace in the messy balance of work and family is what fuels me through the hectic weeks and months. If you’re a fellow working parent, here’s to you my friend! How do you embrace the beautiful chaos? #WorkingMom #LifeWorkBalance #GivingMyselfGrace #Parenting #SundayNewsletters

Sundays exists to give moms one thing: options. ? The option to stay home with your kids —?without becoming the default house manager, cleaner, bookkeeper, etc. ? The option to step back from your career, knowing you'll have the support to re-enter when you're ready. ? The option to build both your dream career and your dream family life. At the same time. Because when women have options, everyone wins. Families and economies. Kids and parents. This International Women's Day, we’re doubling down on our mission: to create a world where every mom gets to choose her own path —?at work, at home, and everywhere in between. #IWD2025
