What a fantastic time WIT had at the Philadelphia 76ers Youth Foundation Gala! ??? It was an evening filled with excitement, from great live performances to a Philly cheesesteak station ?? and fun photo ops with mascot Franklin, prominent players, and legendary team alumni. The “birthday chic” vibes were in full swing, highlighting the community bakery challenge (with the winner announced live) for unique cake designs inspired by local youth drawings. The talent and creativity on display were absolutely inspiring! ?? The icing on the cake for our team was getting to connect and celebrate with our amazing 76ers partners. It was so great to see Jonathan Jackson, Chris Adams, Aris Watson, Nicole (Melfi) Cannon, Lindsey Felder, Kamille “Millie” Watson, M.S., and Ashley Wells! WIT had a blast at The National Sports Forum! ?? Several members of Team WIT shipped up to Boston last week for a whirlwind of fresh insights and networking opportunities at the action-packed NSF conference! From diving into data analytics in sports and exploring partnership activation to taking in the incredible closing super panel, WIT was well-represented by a crew of go-getters eager to learn and connect in the thick of it all! ?? Beyond the informative sessions, the conference gave our team the opportunity to connect in person with amazing current partners and spark new collaborations, building relationships that will help unlock exciting projects in the months to come. A huge shoutout to everyone who made time for a special WIT dinner, including Michelle Rosar, Whitney Hallock, Mary Edman, David Martin, Daniel Klimpel, and Robert Strachan. It was a top highlight of the trip for our team! This conference was an unforgettable hands-on experience, allowing Team WIT to gain knowledge from industry leaders and exchange strategies that are sure to shape the future of sports. February is coming to a close, but numerous WIT partners have been sharing the love by uplifting their local communities with innovative Black History Month experiences. ?? Our friends at the Buffalo Bills kicked things off with a Black-Owned Business Gift Card Scratch-N-Win, promoting and supporting local entrepreneurs. The NY LIBERTY and Washington Wizards each had a blast hosting neighborhood Scavenger Hunts encouraging fans to visit Black-owned businesses for a chance to win awesome prizes and discounts. No rest for the Wizards, though! The Wiz also brought back the HBCU Battle of the DJs Vote-to-Win for the third year in a row, spotlighting local talent and awarding an in-game feature to the champion DJ in this epic competition! ?? The Washington Capitals got in on the action as well, rolling out their Howard Basketball Black History Prize Wheel to give out Black History gear, signed memorabilia, and more! Additionally, the Chicago Sky WNBA unveiled a Fan Wall art contest inviting young fans to share what Black History Month means to them for the chance to win a prize pack and have their creativity featured on Sky socials. ?? In celebration of Lunar New Year, we partnered with?Red Hawk Casino?to create a special promotion for fans at Golden 1 Center.? ? All 18,000+ fans at the game received a cobranded fortune cookie, made in collaboration with?OpenFortune ??. Inside was one of 40 Kings-themed fortunes (ex: “Your future is as bright as the beam in the night sky.”) , lucky numbers incorporating the Kings roster, and a QR code pointing to a digital Scratch & Win experience, powered by?WIT Sports. Fans that scanned the QR code had the opportunity to enter the Good Fortune Sweepstakes for the chance to win amazing prizes including experiences from Red Hawk as well as tickets and autographed items from the Kings.? ? WIT had an amazing time revisiting Prudential Center for the New Jersey Devils “Sweep the Deck Gala” last month! ?? The arena was transformed into a chalet-chic wonderland for a fun night of auctions supporting the incredible Devils Youth Foundation, complete with themed casino games and curling on center ice. Team WIT had a blast reconnecting with VIPs like Ned Luke, chatting with current and alumni players, and cheesin’ with the Stanley Cup. Pure magic! ??? The evening also brought back great memories from our epic WIT Summit last December, attending a Devils game and taking group photos on the ice. Huge shoutout to the entire Devils organization for sharing these once-in-a-lifetime experiences with us! We’re beyond grateful for this partnership and are hard at work to continue building on the success we’ve shared. Kickin’ it with Austin FC ? ?? Last week, WIT went down to Austin for the Austin FC Partner Summit where we got to see old friends, make new ones, and hear about all of the amazing things happening at Q2 Stadium this year. We kicked things off with a city tour Thursday evening with new Austin resident Liz Kim and Austin aficionado Holly Stoner. Then, we dove into the summit, where Austin FC’s president shared some exciting new details about their big MLS All-Star Game plans! The hype is real, and it’s going to be epic! The panels were packed with insights on brand partnerships, but let's be real—Liz Wardlow, MBA and Chris Fenlon absolutely scored with their presentation on Winning with WIT. ?? After the summit, the team visited the iconic South Congress Street, enjoyed some amazing food, and wrapped up the trip with new connections and fresh ideas. ?? Get Ready to Set the Stage! ?? Pro Volleyball Federation and WIT are teaming up to let the fans bump up the action and make their voices heard in the PVF’s inaugural All-Star Match! ???? Participants can dig deep and select their favorite players across all positions to build their dream team. The players who rack up the most votes will set themselves up for automatic spots on the 2025 PVF All-Star rosters of 12 stars per squad.
