Veterans Trading Company (VTC) would like to share with our LinkedIn followers the commitment we have made in the development and growth of our company’s leaders and professionals. Certainly, each employee brings value to the company through their own education and experiences. By launching a leadership program, we are ensuring that each employee is given the opportunity to hone their skills, learn from others and build a sustainable team and culture that we are proud to share with our customers through our business relationships.
This month, we will wrap up the inaugural class of our Leadership Development Program for VTC leaders. We have spent the last fourteen months sending 12 senior leaders through an in-depth training series facilitated by Talent Strategy Coach, @Craig Lloyd of @Tony Wiseman Strategies.
In this program, our leaders participated in bi-monthly training sessions, covering important management topics, such as:

·??????Coaching for Better Performance
·??????Change Management
·??????Effective Meetings
·??????And more…
Between sessions, each leader received one-on-one coaching, specifically focusing on action items from the training session. The team members also worked monthly assignments in smaller groups to maintain accountability and learn from each other. ?These monthly assignments focused on reinforcing through assignments, all the learning from the larger group sessions as well as building an aligned culture among the team.
Over 14 months, our senior leaders have honed their skills, developed meaningful habits, and built stronger relationships with their teams and peers. We are so excited for the next round of VTC professionals to go through this program, starting in August of this year.
