?? Our Wise Platform team wrapped up a fascinating few days at the Global Payments Summit in Paris last week! The team really enjoyed insightful discussion with partners, regulators and central banks about the future of cross-border #payments. One thing is clear: #customers expect cross-border payments to work just like domestic ones–quickly, transparently and efficiently. ?? Here are our key takeaways from the event: ?? Direct access to payment rails is critical to making instant, low-cost international transactions a reality. Expanding access to non-bank and payment service providers has already shown positive outcomes without major disruptions, lowering systemic risk. ?? More transparency is needed—hidden fees and slow transfers are no longer acceptable to customers. And the industry needs to come together to improve this. The industry is moving in the right direction, but there’s still work to do ??? How can you help drive this change and create an outstanding payment experience for your customers?
