The WPRA Executive Assistant will support and report to the Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) Chief Development Officer & Executive Director of the Wisconsin Public Radio Association (WPRA). The WPRA is a not-for-profit organization with the mission of soliciting, receiving, stewarding, and allocating gifts that support Wisconsin Public Radio, a service of the UW-Madison Division of Wisconsin Public Media (WPM) and the Educational Communications Board (ECB). The WPRA Executive Assistant will support the Director and the WPRA Board by facilitating communications, managing schedules, organizing workflows, supporting WPR Development priorities, and assisting with special projects. Wisconsin Public Radio is looking for their next WPR News Program Director! The WPR News Program Director is chiefly responsible for the audience experience on WPR News, a network with nearly 150,000 weekly listeners. They will manage teams, coordinate special coverage, and implement our promo strategy and partners with the Chief Content Officer to set the broadcast schedule. The WPR News Program Director must keep their feet in both traditional radio and the digital space where an increasing percentage of our audience experiences content. They will also take a lead role in developing new programming. This role will require daily collaboration across multiple departments including news, marketing and development. The managing producer shepherds broadcast and digital content on Wisconsin Today by approving pitches, assigning content, and scheduling topics. They also schedule and manage the performance of a team of content producers while collaborating with hosts, technical directors, and related staff. This person is an excellent communicator and problem-solver who works well on deadlines and has an eye for detail. This position reports to the Executive Producer of Wisconsin Today, and they will partner with the EP to execute on the vision and mission of Wisconsin Today. The person in this role may work an in-person, remote, or hybrid schedule, depending on needs. The role is based in our offices in Madison, Wisconsin. Wisconsin Public Radio (www.wpr.org), is seeking a full-time Web Operations Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for the website for WPR. The Web Operations Manager will play a key role in managing and optimizing the website to support our mission of delivering high-quality content and engaging with our audience effectively. This role will administer the website and other integrated systems, perform web development work, respond to users' questions and issues, fulfill support requests, and provide user training. The Manager will also work closely with staff in WPR's news, music, fundraising, marketing and finance units to gather requirements, submit development requests to the campus web development team, and track, prioritize, and lead projects. The expectation is that this is a working manager position but that the campus web development team will handle more complex coding and development related to the custom WordPress site built by a vendor in early 2024. ?
