The Wisconsin Committee of ESGR develops and promotes employer support for Guard and Reserve service.
关于我们
ESGR, a Department of Defense office, was established in 1972 to promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component Service members and their civilian employers and to assist in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee's military commitment. ESGR is supported by a network of nearly 2,300 volunteers in 54 committees located across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam-CNMI (Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands), Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Volunteers, hailing from small business and industry, government, education, and prior military service bring a vast wealth of experience to assist in serving employers, Service members, and their families. Together with Headquarters ESGR staff and a small cadre of support staff for each State Committee, volunteers work to promote and enhance employer support for military service in the Guard and Reserve. ESGR has served our country for more than 50 years, fostering a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States. These citizen warriors could not defend and protect us at home and abroad without the continued promise of meaningful civilian employment for themselves and their families. ESGR has continued to adapt to meet the needs of Reserve Component members, their families, and America’s employers by joining forces with a network of other national, state, and local government and professional trade organizations. Thank you Mark Jamieson and 2W Technologies, INC for supporting Master Sergeant Jason Savage and your other employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve forces! Patriotic employers like 2W Tech are critical to our nation’s defense. Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve (ESGR) Wisconsin Air National Guard
This is Jason. By day, he leads our dev team... On the occasional weekend and a few weeks a year, he is also known as Master Sargent Savage of the 128th Air Refueling Wing of the Wisconsin National Guard. 2W Tech is proud to support Jason in his service to our country. Recently, I had this incredible opportunity to participate in Bosslift. #Bosslift is an event organized by the Wisconsin Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). During Bosslift, I was assigned to a refueling aircraft and saw firsthand as our citizen soldiers refueled E35s and F15s over Wisconsin. From a purely visceral perspective, it was just incredibly cool. Later, I learned that nearly 50% of our nation’s military in-air refueling capacity lies in the hands of the Air National Guard. This becomes relevant when you consider that our nation’s newest adversaries are on the other side of the globe. I also learned #ESGR has a team of volunteers and does the heavy lifting to work with employers so they can mirror the needs of the troops of our National Guard. A huge thank you to ESGR for this unforgettable experience, and to the work and dedication of the men and women of the Wisconsin 128th Air Wing. And of course, to 2W Tech’s own Master Sargent. Jason, we could not be more proud of you. #ESGR #WisconsinNationalGuard
