Honored to have hosted the University of Illinois System at Wintrust Sports Complex on their Leadership State Tour! It was an inspiring experience to gain insight into the impactful work they're doing in the education system. A special thank you to two of our The Village of Bedford Park innovators Mayor Dave Brady and Joe Ronovsky for sharing exciting updates about our community and the complex. ?? Project Spotlight ?? We are thrilled to showcase one of our latest projects! In collaboration with The Village of Bedford Park Chicago Sky WNBA & ALPA Construction Inc. We're thrilled to be the Owner's Representative for the Village of Bedford Park on this landmark project! Breaking ground this fall, the $38 million Training Facility will be home to a WNBA performance center next to the Wintrust Sports Complex. It will feature two regulation WNBA courts, first-class amenities, private player lounges, a high-tech film room, advanced strength and conditioning facilities, a private chef’s kitchen, personalized locker rooms, secured parking, a content creation studio, beauty stations, and more. Last week I wrapped up my second summer as an Event & Operations Intern at Wintrust Sports Complex in Bedford Park. I am so appreciative of all my mentors the last two summers for guiding and supporting me. Throughout the summer I was a part of the planning of multiple tournaments, as well as seeing them run smoothly. I also had a blast assisting with our Family Bingo! This was so much fun working for our community & creating unforgettable memories! Additionally, Andrew Ingraffia and I represented Wintrust Sports Complex at our local farmers market, where we gathered amazing insite from our neighbors as well as promoting the facility. I have gained even more knowledge and a love for events and operations & cannot wait to see what the future has in store for the facility, especially with the Chicago Sky officially moving in next door!!
