Cranberry Isles School took on the WinterKids Winter Games and came out stronger, healthier, and more connected than ever! ??
With just 5 students and 2 teachers, this island school didn’t let size—or even the winter winds—hold them back! From sledding on Family Night to weather data collection, and frozen sun catchers, these young learners embraced the elements and built lifelong skills.
Despite the challenges of traveling by mailboat (which sometimes couldn’t run due to high winds! ??), our students earned maximum participation points, finished 4th overall. They brought home $1,000—funding that will help bring exciting new opportunities to the school.
THIS is why we do it. The Winter Games promote active learning, outdoor fun, and community connections, and we’re so grateful for the support that makes this possible.
