"Every new Marketing Ad dollar has gone digital for 19 years...on-line is all green, all the time" that's marketing strategist Bruce Biegel in opening summary of his 2025 Annual Outlook talk Jan. 23rd at the Marketing Club of New York (MCNY) luncheon in Manhattan. Bruce and his team calculated that Marketing - Advertising spend was up 11% in 2024, most of this from the Olympics and the national election although without substantial spending on primaries. He observed Marketing Ad spend is growing faster compared with GDP, "We used to look at Marketing Ad spend at 2% Gross Domestic Product, now it is closer to 2.5%.
