Please join the Wisconsin Department of Transportation \(WisDOT\) Northeast Region for a live, online Oregon/Jackson Street Bridge Local Officials Meeting to discuss proposed improvements taking place on the Oregon/Jackson Street Bridge over the Fox River in the city of Oshkosh. The meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m., November 20, 2024, via Microsoft Teams. The meeting is to review the purpose and need for improvements, coordinate with local units of government, obtain comments and feedback on the proposed design, and discuss upcoming public involvement and outreach. Project staff will share project maps, displays, and exhibits via video. You can also listen to the project presentation via audio-only if you prefer. A question-and-answer period will follow the live presentation. Reconstruction of the roadway approaches between W 6th Avenue and Marion Road is included. Construction is currently scheduled for 2028. Oregon/Jackson Street will be closed during the project and a detour route will be posted. We have developed a project website at https://lnkd.in/gxdpWGGh with proposed scope, schedule, traffic impacts, maps, exhibits, displays and information for businesses in the work zone. There are various methods to provide project comment on the website. Knowledge of any community events, area improvement projects and other factors that may affect the schedule or scope of the proposed improvements would be beneficial to us.
