Winland Foods is excited to share the results of two recent volunteer events at the Northern Illinois Food Bank, where a total of thirty-six Winland volunteers came together for fun team building and a chance to give back. As one of the corporate sponsors for the holiday meal boxes, the team packed an impressive 24,000 pounds of food, which equates to over 20,000 meals for those in need. The holiday meal boxes contained all the fixings for a festive feast and will be distributed by the food bank along with a ham or turkey, to help families celebrate the holidays. This effort reinforces Winland’s commitment to making a meaningful difference in our communities. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this initiative! Honoring Service and Sacrifice: Veterans Day & Remembrance Day Today, we pause to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who have served in the armed forces. As we observe Remembrance Day and Veterans Day, we remember and honor those who have given so much for the freedoms we hold dear. In the spirit of remembrance, we share 2 historic photographs and a photo of current team members that tell the story of our company’s connection to the military: ?? ?? Happy Halloween from the Winland Foods family! ?? Our Winland teams just turned up the Halloween magic with unforgettable Trunk-or-Treat events and Halloween activities! At some locations, team members and their families gathered to experience a fun-filled evening where our management team pulled out all the stops, decking out their trunks with some of the most creative (and spooky!) decorations imaginable. From delicious hot dogs and popcorn to refreshing drinks and an exciting jump house for the kids, there was something for everyone! Other locations participated in costume contests and enjoyed some yummy Halloween treats! A huge thank you to our incredible employees for making these events true successes. Their participation and energy brought the Halloween spirit to life! Winland appreciates each and every one of our employees for joining in the fun and making this a memorable celebration.
