关于我们
Wine To Water (WTW) is a global non-profit preserving life and dignity through the power of clean water. Since its founding in 2004, WTW develops WASH (water, sanitation, hygiene) solutions in direct partnership with local leaders, creating impact beyond water. WTW works relentlessly to improve environmental sustainability, education, women’s empowerment, healthcare, and economic growth. Over 1.72 million people in 51 countries and over 1200 communities gained access to safe and clean water through these programs. WTW is active in Nepal, Dominican Republic, the Amazon, and Tanzania. In these regions, WTW establishes and provides ongoing support for customized, sustainable water treatment systems and processes. The WTW Emergency Response team is currently in Turkey and Syria performing earthquake and disaster relief. In 2022 the team responded to Florida, Mississippi, Pakistan and the Ukraine. To partner with WTW, or to learn more, visit WTW.org or follow @WineToWater on Facebook, @winetowater on Instagram and @winetowater on Twitter.

In January, our volunteers joined forces with the Mswakini School community and our team to transform water access for their school in Tanzania. Together, they built a sustainable water system, digging trenches and laying pipes to connect taps, the school kitchen, and latrines to a reverse osmosis system—ensuring reliable access to clean water. With these improvements, the school now has the resources to support a healthier learning environment and a brighter future. Big thanks to this crew for rolling up their sleeves and getting the work done.

Nonprofits quickly mobilized for Hurricane Helene and are continuing to provide much-needed support for the communities impacted. As people look to where they can provide help and financial support, the teams at GoFundMe and Classy from GoFundMe are amplifying the work of the nonprofits activating help in these communities through through our Hurricane Helene Relief hub (https://lnkd.in/eUirQhVQ) and through outreach to local and national news outlets (https://lnkd.in/gMxjQh4G). Thank you All Hands and Hearts, Direct Relief, Americares, World Central Kitchen, Feeding Tampa Bay, The Salvation Army, Team Rubicon, Wine To Water, Second Harvest of the Big Bend, FirefighterAid and CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) for continuing to deliver help to all of those in need.

#Veteran Network: Many in western North Carolina remain without clean water, no means of transportation, and no way to communicate. If you or your company have the means to provide on the ground assistance, please respond and we can help connect you with those on the ground. If not, please consider supporting Wine To Water, a 501(c)3 who is there on the ground, delivering clean water, doing the real work. https://lnkd.in/eQ8zQpsZ Courtney Mattar Cisco #westernnorthcarolina #helene #cleanwater
