Wine To Water (WTW) is a global non-profit preserving life and dignity through the power of clean water. Since its founding in 2004, WTW develops WASH (water, sanitation, hygiene) solutions in direct partnership with local leaders, creating impact beyond water. WTW works relentlessly to improve environmental sustainability, education, women’s empowerment, healthcare, and economic growth. Over 1.72 million people in 51 countries and over 1200 communities gained access to safe and clean water through these programs. WTW is active in Nepal, Dominican Republic, the Amazon, and Tanzania. In these regions, WTW establishes and provides ongoing support for customized, sustainable water treatment systems and processes. The WTW Emergency Response team is currently in Turkey and Syria performing earthquake and disaster relief. In 2022 the team responded to Florida, Mississippi, Pakistan and the Ukraine. Nonprofits quickly mobilized for Hurricane Helene and are continuing to provide much-needed support for the communities impacted. Throughout April and May, the WTW FilterBuild? team teamed up with Xylem, Ecolab, FIS Global, Thrivent, MetLife, and MORE to assemble over 6,000 life-changing membrane filters. WTW is currently sending filters to respond to disasters in Kenya and Brazil, providing?a clean water solution to people struggling after natural catastrophe.
