Check out this fun time-lapse video put together by our customers, David & Kim Brunson, of their residential ground mount installation that was recently completed. I especially love their joy at the end! Enjoy! https://lnkd.in/eTA89j-Y

Thanks to Tim Montague for ths interview on his Clean Power Hour and to the Illinois Solar Energy Association and the ICJC for the policy and advocacy work that has paved the way for solar to grow in Illinois!
I started working in solar PV in 2016 and it was a homecoming because I'd been interested in solar since I was ten and building solar thermal panels with my dad in Albuquerque NM. When I spoke with Michelle Knox the founder of WindSolarUSA, Inc. and former board member of the Illinois Solar Energy Association I was reminded of my early days in energy but Michelle has much more experience and exposure to the maturation of the solar industry than I. Michelle offers invaluable insights from over a decade of experience growing her solar business in Illinois and working to advance the industry through her advocacy with ISEA. Our conversation explores the crucial role policy has played in turning Illinois into a top 10 solar state, while highlighting the constant work still needed to protect those gains from anti-solar challenges. Michelle spoke firsthand about the economic ripple effects of smart pro-solar legislation, going from a one-person company to employing multiple teams across central and southern #Illinois today. Her journey shows how groups like ISEA maximize renewable energy’s local job creation and consumer access through legislative engagement and educational resources. Have a listen and let me know if you can relate. What state based solar organization is your favorite? Let me know in the comments! -Tim Montague
