The Windrose Technology E1400 are now in series production, the first batch for SF-Kerry Logistics. They are being assembled at the same facility in Suzhou that will be used for the New Zealand bound production trucks. To begin production only 32 months after the founding of the company is quite astonishing. A demonstration unit will be seen out and about on New Zealand roads next month. Etrucks? New Zealand

What happens in 32 months? For us at Windrose Technology , we went from the first idea on 2022 March 22 to the first batch of production trucks in on 2024 November 20!

Windrose EV trucks | ZF Group Windrose Technology, based in the Greater Antwerp area, Belgium, is now collaborating with ZF Group on its innovative EBS (Electronic Braking Solution)" Windrose offers a 729kwh battery, 670km full range (49-ton total weight) electric long-haul truck, and will start production in China in Q42024, US and Europe in 2025. This advanced brake control technology by ZF transfers the driver’s deceleration request electronically to all braking system components to shorten response time, balance brake forces and provide efficient brake management between service and endurance brakes. Windrose takes first steps toward producing and delivering next-generation long-range heavy-duty electric trucks in Europe 1. The company has been granted a world-manufacturing ID by the Society of Automotive Engineers for its preliminary facility located in Zele, Belgium, marking the first official step in establishing its presence in the European market. 2. Windrose has already brought its innovative 4x2 (single rear-axle) truck to Europe for initial testing. This vehicle, engineered for efficiency and versatility, is designed to meet the diverse needs of European transport operators. 3. The company has commenced loaded testing of its 6x4 truck in Scandinavia. This heavy-duty truck has been tested with a 34-meter double-trailer road train, carrying a total weight of 64 tons on a 580km single charge journey, with a peak output of 1,040kW or 1,400 equivalent horsepower. This demonstrates Windrose’s commitment to delivering powerful and reliable solutions for the most demanding applications. 4. Windrose is preparing to build up its R&D and industrialization center in Antwerp, Belgium. This facility will spearhead innovation and manufacturing excellence, ensuring the company’s trucks meet the highest standards in the European market. 5. Windrose is narrowing down to a shortlist of facilities in Belgium and France for further industrial development. 6. Lastly, Windrose is moving its corporate structure to Europe with headquarters in Belgium 7. Windrose has been at a mass production ready status and the first batch of Windrose series production trucks, its flagship 670km range pure electric ones, will be delivered to key customers in Q4 2024 in China first.
