Windover was proud to partner with?Tufts University,?Finegold Alexander Architects, and?PAYETTE?to renovate and revitalize the historic Eaton Hall at the heart of Tufts’ campus. This project prioritizes accessibility, sustainability, and adaptability as part of Tufts’ initiative to modernize its facilities. In addition to updated classrooms, offices, and community spaces, Eaton Hall now features a reimagined auditorium designed for flexibility that can hold up to 280 people, and a new unique glass addition at the front of the building.? Connecting the new structure and systems to the historical building built in the early 1900s and 1940s meant thorough MEP coordination was crucial for this project. Windover developed comprehensive BIM-MEP models and worked meticulously through coordination with the design teams and trade partners to build it virtually first and minimize issues during installation. The success of this complex renovation is a testament to true collaboration across the entire project team - congratulations to all involved!
After a two-year renovation, Eaton Hall opens its doors to visual surprises and improved functionality, sustainability, and accessibility. [??: Alonso Nichols/Tufts University] https://lnkd.in/e65dmv5F
