?????? ???????????????? ??????: 400+ Pupils Inspired To Shape The Future From the excited faces of children peering through microscopes to hands-on lab experiments led by some of the UK’s most innovative scientists, Pioneer Group’s biggest Ada Lovelace Day event yet was a day of inspiration and wonder. For a day, the children became junior scientists, exploring their curiosity and discovering the endless possibilities of science. This nationwide event united 425 pupils across eight of our locations: BioCity Nottingham MediCity Nottingham Kent Science Park Wilton Centre Hexagon Tower BioCity Glasgow Edinburgh Technopole Colworth Science Park Through interactive workshops, students engaged directly with companies like Unilever, Merck Life Science, Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Arxada and Intertek - showcasing the real-world impact of STEM careers. A generation that faces huge planatery health challanges and the prospect of steering revolutionary human health solutions deserves to have its potential for innovation maximised. The Wilton Centre: A 50-Year Journey Towards Sustainable Innovation Approaching its 50th anniversary, the Wilton Centre’s transformation is nothing short of remarkable. Launched as the headquarters of ICI - once Britain's largest manufacturer - the site welcomed over 1,000 employees on its opening day. However, its industrial legacy also left environmental challenges in its wake. Today, under Pioneer Group's stewardship, the Wilton Centre is a sustainability beacon. The materials that once contributed to pollution are now being reverse-engineered on-site by Intertek. Mura Technology is preparing to launch the world’s first hydrothermal plastic recycling system here. And Stuff4Life Ltd, a fellow resident, is transforming polyester workwear into new clothing, earning a nomination for the ￡1m Earthshot Prize. With projects like bp's Net Zero Teesside Power operating on-site, the Wilton Centre is more committed than ever to empowering those who tackle planetary and human health challenges. According to Wise Campaign and STEM Women, around 25% of STEM professionals and 39% of STEM students are female. From hundreds of visionary applicants, we curated an elite cohort of ten groundbreaking innovators pioneering sustainable solutions. ?? Each company underwent intensive workshops, honing their customer discovery, value propositions, and fundraising strategies. ?? Partners CPI were joined by Lisa Page from Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP and Shruti Iyengar from Future Planet Capital to deliver essential IP and investment insight. The cohort included: ?
