As you know, recent floods because of Hurricane Helene, have devastated many of our neighboring communities, leaving countless people without shelter, food, and basic necessities. In times like these, our collective support can make a significant difference. In an effort to help, WBT will be accepting supply donations at all office locations now through October 11 to help with Hurricane Helene Relief. Congratulations to our recently named Director, Lisa Pominski! After 37 years of service at WBT, Lisa retired as the bank’s CFO and joined the Board as its newest Director. Her remarkable leadership and vast knowledge of the bank will be great assets to help continue to lead the bank to a successful future. Congrats, Lisa!

In true volunteer spirit, and partnered with TennCommUNITY, 10 WBT Volunteers alongside volunteers from other local community banks, helped purchase food at the Lebanon Kroger to create boxes for families of Lebanon Special School District’s (LSSD) students! The LSSD Family Resource Center was awarded a Youth Civic Engagement Grant to benefit the students, families, and stakeholders in the Lebanon community. This effort allowed TenCommUNITY to shop for over 1000 shelf-stable items for families in need!

On this Sherry's Run Eve, we are excited to celebrate another year of community partnership with Sherry's Hope ! Our 2024 Sherry's Hope employee initiative raised and donated over $27,000 to help our neighbors in need!
