Together, we designed the most technical wedding dress for her 2023 nuptials, which then inspired her on-court look for Wimbledon. ? We are thrilled to announce that women’s basketball trailblazer, Caitlin Clark is officially a Wilson Sporting Goods Co. athlete. The multiyear partnership with the Indiana Fever guard will include signature basketball collections celebrating Clark’s continued legacy, as well as working with her to innovate product across the WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association), National Basketball Association (NBA) and basketball at large – further cementing her impact on the world of sport. As part of Clark’s role, she will test, advise and provide feedback on a range of Wilson basketball products; further advancing how we continue to improve the game from youth to pro. We will drop collections that celebrate Clark throughout the rest of 2024, as well as work with her to creatively direct her first-ever signature basketball line that will debut later this year - making her the first-ever women’s basketball player to receive a Wilson signature product line. “Wilson has been with me across some of the most pivotal moments in my career so far, and I couldn’t be more excited to continue driving basketball forward alongside them,” says Caitlin Clark, NCAA Division I?all-time leading scorer and WNBA rookie. “It feels surreal to have my own basketball collection, and to affect what that means for future generations of athletes.” The first drop in the collection features our classic white and gold WNBA basketball with personalized laser engravings celebrating iconic Clark moments. With April being World Autism Month, we wanted to wrap up by sharing our "Play for the Cause" initiative in collaboration with Autism Speaks. The initiative expands upon our newest Love the Moment? collection – inclusive of baseball and softball gloves, as well as an Evo NXT Basketball, encouraging athletes to foster inclusion and play with a purpose. ? “At Wilson Sporting Goods Co., it is our vision to create a better world through sport, and we’ve been so grateful to have Autism Speaks as our anchor DE&I partner over the last 5 years,” says Amanda Lamb, VP of Brand. “We look forward to expanding upon our work together to promote inclusion, acceptance and understanding for people on the autism spectrum, empowering our consumers and athletes to do the same.” ? We are proud to donate 10 percent of the purchase price of all Love the Moment? products directly to Autism Speaks, with a minimum donation of $150,000 each year.
