Paper Abstract: Achieving decarbonisation targets necessitates transformations within the Swiss energy sector. Digital technologies and data are key drivers in this transition, but the energy service providers are reluctant to embrace the data economy fully. Thus, this research explores the role of use cases for trusted data spaces in fostering innovation through collaboration. By analysing ecosystems and corresponding use cases, the study examines the impact of digital technology on collaboration and the joint creation of innovative services and business models. The study employs Action Design Research methodology to depict how the problem exploration and solution development were carried out in multi-stakeholder workshops. The findings highlight the positive reception of the developed 'Use Case Canvas' among stakeholders, and its potential to drive collaborative innovation in the energy sector. The theoretical exploration of applied concepts and methodology is ongoing, presenting considerable opportunities for further research. The WILSON Project’s Italy Pilot Visit ?? On the second day of our 1st General Assembly, the WILSON team had the pleasure of visiting Agenzia del Demanio, one of our pilot partners. The session commenced with a welcome and an outline of the meeting’s objectives, followed by a detailed overview of the Italian demo, including the pilot’s core goals, roles of our technical partners, and specific tool requirements. This was followed by an on-site visit to the Italian demo and concluded with a wrap-up session, paving the way for strengthened collaboration.
