WWLCC recently welcomed a couple of new members who we are proud to share. On Tuesday, Willoughby House and Julia’s 1902 received their membership plaque. ? Willoughby House and its resident restaurant, Julia’s 1902, exist as one of Willoughby’s oldest historic landmarks. This stunning estate was originally commissioned by Julia French Boyce in 1898, was completed in 1902 and has been beautifully restored and reopened in 2024 to become an inn, events space and restaurant. Ten luxurious suites are presented to guests seeking a comfortable experience and wishing to step momentarily back in time. Anyone with a passion for history, fine dining or beautiful architecture would enjoy everything Willoughby House has to offer. As a global village right here in Willoughby, Andrews Osborne Academy is a preschool through twelfth grade and post-graduate boarding school that hosts students from around the world. This 200-acre campus has been enriching the lives of young scholars since 1910 and offers 32 student clubs to cultivate a vibrant student culture. Andrews Osborne Academy teaches its students to think critically and creatively while fostering strong relationships between students and teachers. They encourage students to be well-rounded as they learn and grow in a multi-cultural environment on a breathtaking campus. This chilly morning, the WWLCC Board of Directors enjoyed a fun stop on the Tour Lake County OH Hot Chocolate Trail, with hot chocolate courtesy of Arabica Coffee House. ? ?? With the season’s first flurries dancing through the air, today was the perfect morning for a hot, indulgent beverage. Hosted by Tour Lake County OH, the Hot Chocolate Trail consists of 11 different locations throughout Lake County. Invite your pallet to try each location’s unique take on this classic seasonal drink. The Hot Chocolate Trail runs now through December 31 at midnight. ? We also want to give a shoutout to Arabica Coffee House for generously donating their delicious hot chocolate and coffee for today’s board meeting.
