This is what our Jean Fridays can do! Employees pay $5 a week to wear jeans on Friday, with all money collected used to buy Christmas gifts for local children! ????????This year we were able to provide Christmas for 8 children total, four each from Williamstown Elementary School Yellowjackets and Lubeck Elementary School! #whatbankingcanbe #BankLocally #giveback

We love working with our Partner in Education schools to bring some holiday cheer to the students!
Day 2 of reading to students was a hit at Williamstown Elementary School! Between the two schools we read to about 700 students in grades ranging from PreK-4, and had a blast! There’s truly no better feeling than spreading Christmas cheer and seeing the magic of the season through children’s eyes! A HUGE thank you to David Welsh for taking time out of his busy schedule to help both days, the students loved Buddy! He may think twice before making a simple comment (“Hey you should do Buddy the Elf one year!”) in the future!

Thank you ICBA!
Bank branch design is more than just aesthetics. It’s what sets the tone for every customer who visits that location. These community banks have thought outside the teller line to build spaces that make room for both technology and the human touch.

Today we presented North Star Child Advocacy Center with their single largest check of $3,030 bringing their total received through The Giving Cup to $12,535! The Giving Cup has surpassed $60,000 in total donations where ??% of every dollar received goes straight back to our local community! North Star became a beneficiary in April 2023 and uses these funds to support their critical mission of serving local child victims of abuse and their families. We are so thankful for the work the North Star team does and for the partnership we have in helping them raise not just critical funding, but also awareness of their mission and the reality of child abuse in the MOV. #WhatBankingCanBe #BankLocally #thegivingcup

Today we made a trip to TN to give RISE Erwin a check for $2,426 from donations we received during October at The Giving Cup and our other offices. Every dollar received will be used to help rebuild Erwin, TN and the surrounding areas deeply impacted by Helene. While amazing progress has been made, there’s still so much work needed. We had the opportunity to speak with some locals who shared photos of during and immediately after the flood which are shared below, along with showing us firsthand the damage and progress. The hospital you see surrounded by water and people stranded on the roof, was only two years old, and has to be completely rebuilt. The industrial area pictured is the one where unfortunately 11 people were overwhelmed by flood waters, with 5 still not yet found. The road is I-26, with one temporary lane having been reopened this week, and you can see from the church how the river carved out a new path leaving destruction in its path. We were humbled and grateful to send a little hope to Erwin from WV, and to all who gave we sincerely thank you! The appreciation from locals cannot be described. #WhatBankingCanBe #giveback #hurricanerelief
