It's been one year since I published my first book, Brick by Brick: Becoming a Clinical & Consulting Psychologist. I wish I could say that it was easy being vulnerable and putting your internal thoughts in book, but it hasn't been easy. As a first generational professional there are so many questions that I had and still have. Some of those questions are answered in the classroom, but many are learned when you are working with clients, talking with peers, and our own personal development. My hope for this book is that it gets into the hands of those who are clinicians, consultants, or educators, and are seeking direction on how to navigate their career path as they serve clients.
