2024 WILLIAMS BROS. WOWO WINNER OF THE YEAR At the end of every year the Executive Board of Williams Bros. chooses an employee as our WOWO winner of the year. A WOWO (Watching Out for Wiggin' Out) is when a Williams Bros. employee exceeds our customer's expectations. This year the WB Executive Board chose Brennen Thompson from WB Paoli as the 2024 WB WOWO Winner of the Year. Here is why Brennen won this award: “Brennen was out doing his daily deliveries; he had just made a delivery and was heading back to the store. He drove past a patient's home that we do deliver to on a country road, with very little traffic. As he is going by her driveway, he hears someone laying on the horn. He backs up and pulls into the driveway and notices she is in her car. She couldn't get out of the car; she had surgery previously and is wheelchair bound. Come to find out, her son just left her in the car and took off walking. She had been sitting in her car for 1 and 1/2 hours trying to get someone's attention to help her. Brennen was able to help get the wheelchair out of the trunk and helped her get into the house safely. He also helped her carry in the laundry baskets from her car. She was so very thankful he stopped and helped her because who knows how long she would have been stuck in the car for, if he hadn't ." Congratulations to Brennen on achieving this recognition. Introducing our new CEO, Charles 'Clay' Williams, PharmD. Williams Brothers Healthcare Pharmacy is excited to announce Charles C. (Clay) Williams III as our new CEO. With roots back to his great, great, grandfather in 1899, Clay ascends to the CEO position previously held by his father Charles C. (C.C.) Williams II and his uncle Mark Williams. The Williams lineage dates back five generations when C.C. Williams opened Williams Pharmacy in Farmersburg, IN in 1902. C.C. and Mark along with brother Jeff, started Williams Bros. Healthcare Pharmacy in 1988. Today, with C.C. and Mark at the helm Williams Bros., has grown to 8 pharmacies and 13 home medical equipment locations, 2 long-term care pharmacies, a specialty and mail order pharmacy, a compounding pharmacy as well as an infusion pharmacy and over 500 employees. As Clay begins his tenure as CEO, he said, “It is a great honor to be named the CEO of Williams Bros. Healthcare Pharmacy. I intend to use the same philosophy that CC Williams used in 1902 to guide us into the future, “be nice to others and they will be nice to you.” Please join us in congratulating Charles (Clay) Williams as the new CEO of Williams Bros.
