  • Dear William Raveis Family, Our William Raveis Charitable Fund event on October 22 in Palm Beach was a huge success! The inaugural Southeast Florida Regional Music and Comedy for a Cure (WRCF) turned out to be the region's event of the year! All six South Florida offices participated, including Boca Raton, Hobe Sound, Jupiter Island, Mirasol, Palm Beach and North Palm Beach. Our sales associates and staff were able to tap into their spheres and procure many creative and desirable silent auction items, and our entire William Raveis Florida team did an excellent job promoting the event. A big shout out to our wonderful committee, plus extra kudos to Nancy Cardone and Meghan Vanderpoel, for their superb leadership, coordination, and administration every step of the way. What a tremendous advantage for agents and clients. My Northeast Roadshows brought huge crowds this past week. First stop was Greenwich, with over 200 agents and managers, along with William Raveis Mortgage & Insurance representatives from our Greenwich, Stamford, and Westchester County offices. We covered a lot of ground in an hour: 1. Our company's position on the NAR Settlement and strong support for our sales force with personalized coaching and training. 2. A new Concierge package of Buyer services is in the works and 3. Growing our footprint with several exciting company acquisitions on the horizon-stay tuned! On Wednesday, nearly 100 agents from Norwalk, Westport, and Wilton met at our beautiful Westport office. Mia Capella kicked off the meeting with my favorite Tom Petty song, "I Won't Back Down" which set the tone for our discussion on NAR, value proposition, and securing top commissions on par with the level of luxury service you provide. Then Friday morning, dozens of agents came out to visit with me and Al Filippone in NYC. Our Manhattan team is thrilled by the upcoming move to East 71st Street. What better show of community support than hosting local events in the very cities, towns, and villages where we live and work. We held our traditional Apple Picking event at my home in Fairfield recently, and it was heartwarming to see everyone having fun with family and friends. Please be on the lookout for my post later this week to learn about our apple harvest donation for Operation Hope...giving back never stops! Mark your calendars. On November 13, Ryan Raveis will once again join Music For A Cure which promises to be a tremendous night of Rock, Pop, and Country music in loving memory of Meghan Raveis. After last year's fundraiser success, Ryan and the team have set an ambitious goal of $125,000+ for this special event. All donations from the silent auction and ticket sales will directly support the brilliant scientists at Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Raveis Nation has so many creative ways to help fund groundbreaking cancer research...it is incredible what we have achieved together over the years. In 2024, agents, sales managers, and employees hosted over 20 successful local events with nearly 40 more to come. At the same time, our Raffle is underway-Win a $5,000 Vacation Getaway, or a $2,000 Tiffany shopping spree and other exciting prizes with a $10 ticket. Last by not least, an update on Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton. We are greatly relieved by all reports, our agents and employees are safe and out of harm's way. Our facilities had limited damage, and a few offices are still without power. We were lucky.
