SAVE THE DATE! The 12th annual One Tribe One Day is April 2nd. The Libraries have grown so much since our beginnings in the Wren Building to our first dedicated library opened in 1909 (now Tucker Hall) to present-day Swem Library and our many branches across campus. These pictures are proof of the value of library spaces over decades to enrich studying, researching, or simply meet up with friends. This year’s day of giving, we celebrate the highlights of our past and look forward to the future. Last year your support cultivated into our biggest year of giving! The libraries’ are all about creating a space for learning and community - and we are so grateful to our community of students, alumni, faculty, staff and community members. On April 2nd, our goal is to reach 750 donors, which will help us unlock $120,000 for W&M Libraries. We hope to see you on the Conservation Patio at Swem Library on April 2nd from 12:30 to 3:30pm during the Party on the Patio where there will be free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, live music, therapy dogs, and a chance to give a gift to W&M Libraries! Mark those calendars!!
