?? From Strength to Success: A Journey with NEPA RISE ?? We are honored to share the remarkable story of a standout participant from Cohort One who graduated through our medical assistant track. As a survivor of domestic abuse, she chose this path to leverage her previous experience and address the high demand for medical assistants in our region. Her primary goal was to provide for her family and create a better future for them. Through the RISE program, she found not just the skills she needed but also a supportive community within her peers and the RISE team. Inspired by her own positive experience, she encouraged her older daughter to join RISE Cohort Two. Her daughter pursued the medical assistant track, earned top academic credentials, and has now embarked on a career at one of our local hospitals. Their success is a testament to the power of support and opportunity provided by NEPA RISE. Together, their stories highlight the profound impact of our program and the bright futures it helps create. To read more visit the William G. ?? Ethical Leadership: A Defining Factor in Today’s C-Suite In today’s evolving business world, one trait has become essential for both executives and hiring committees: ethical leadership. Korn Ferry’s recent findings confirm that ethics isn’t just a preference—it’s a dealbreaker in senior-level decisions. With trust in institutions declining, leaders are expected to walk the talk. The Edelman Trust Barometer shows that organizations grounded in ethics are gaining the loyalty of employees, customers, and shareholders alike. Ethics isn't just good for business—it’s a competitive advantage. Key insights for companies and leaders: 1?? MBA Programs need to integrate ethical decision-making as core to leadership development. 2?? Pay attention to demand. When Colorado State University introduced ethics courses, over 1,000 students registered in just three weeks—without any push. 3?? Lead by example. Trust is earned by staying committed to ethics, especially when times are tough. At the William G. McGowan Charitable Fund, we’re proud to have supported ethical leadership for 15 years through the McGowan Fellows Program. This initiative helps future leaders navigate the complex world of business with integrity. Additionally, our Ethical Leader of the Year Award has honored CEOs like Charlie Lowrey (Prudential), Ed Bastian (Delta), and Marvin Ellison (Lowe’s) for their commitment to ethical leadership. Ethical leadership is more than a trend—it’s the future. ?? To learn more click on the link below https://lnkd.in/gg-UAk-i #EthicalLeadership #McGowanFellows #Leadership #Integrity
