The Will County Clerk’s Office will be closed 11/11 in honor of Veterans Day. Please take a moment to thank the veterans in your lives who served our Nation faithfully in combat and peacetime.

The Will County Clerk’s Office will begin to accept filing petitions for School Board Districts and Regional Office of Education on Tuesday, November 12. Doors to the County Building will open at 7:30 a.m. with filing beginning at 8:30 a.m. Filing will continue during office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the week except for Monday, November 18 when filing ends at 5 p.m. Petition Filing for other Consolidated Election Offices are filed at their respective district office.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5, 2024. The polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Use the following link to locate your Polling Place: https://ow.ly/WJrC50TZYBy.

If you’re Early Voting at the Village of Plainfield but the line is long, please consider making the short drive to the nearby Prairie Activity & Recreation Center on Renwick Road where waits have been shorter. The Will County Clerk’s Office strives to make Early Voting convenient. There are 25 Early Voting locations throughout Will County, and some are within a few miles of each other.
