A Ballot Placement Lottery will be held on November 26, 2024 at 9 a.m. at the Will County Clerk’s Office for school board candidates who filed for the same office simultaneously on the first day of Petition Filing. The lottery will determine the order candidates will appear on the April 1, 2025 Consolidated Election. No candidates filed simultaneously during the last hour of the last day of petition filing. The Will County Clerk’s Office will be closed 11/11 in honor of Veterans Day. Please take a moment to thank the veterans in your lives who served our Nation faithfully in combat and peacetime.

The Will County Clerk’s Office will begin to accept filing petitions for School Board Districts and Regional Office of Education on Tuesday, November 12. Doors to the County Building will open at 7:30 a.m. with filing beginning at 8:30 a.m. Filing will continue during office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the week except for Monday, November 18 when filing ends at 5 p.m. Petition Filing for other Consolidated Election Offices are filed at their respective district office.
