We at Let’s Fix Security believe that effective security comes from changing behaviors. Many consulting companies will spend months implementing a security tool, writing a 100 page security policy, or designing a bulletproof security architecture process and then hand over the work products to a client. The client then expects everything to work. This is not realistic. Many times, this results in the company’s people ignoring the policy or going around the tool or process. They claim ignorance because they weren’t adequately trained or don’t have time to read hundred of pages in a document. Let’s Fix Security has a better approach – we take metrics to measure user behavior and then implement security incrementally. This incremental approach creates measurable change over time and is the most effective way to change your company’s behaviors.
