Thank you to all who have reached out for your kind remembrances of Dave. We know many of you are also dealing with the tremendous grief of losing him, so taking the time to express condolences has been very meaningful and greatly appreciated by Dave’s family and colleagues. Dave’s family is grateful for everyone who was a part of his life, and would like to invite you to Dave’s Celebration of Life on March 29, 2025 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Barrington White House. It will be an open-house style event with drinks and appetizers. Please wear what Dave would have liked to see you in -- casual or formal, if it would have brought a smile to Dave’s face, we want to see you in it! Dave’s family is collecting photos and memories of Dave, both for personal collections and for a slideshow to present during the Celebration. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our colleague and dear friend, David Allen Wilford, who left us on February 19, 2025, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Dave was a remarkable individual, always quick to share a laugh and an infectious grin. He was a devoted father, a cherished husband, a loyal friend, and an encouraging mentor. His unwavering support for numerous charities, scholarships, and community projects reflected his deep commitment to making the world a better place. Dave led Wilford LLP with integrity and a steadfast dedication to both his clients and colleagues. Pamela Prednis and Sabina Danek, Dave’s long-time law partners, are honored to have worked alongside Dave during this difficult year to ensure that the Firm will continue on in his absence. True to his tenacious spirit, it was Dave’s wish for the Firm to move forward, guided by his core values of responsiveness, exceptional quality, and client commitment. The entire team at Wilford LLP is proud to carry Dave’s legacy into the future. We will share the details regarding the funeral or memorial service as soon as we receive them.
