Learning to override our natural responses to mental or physical fear doesn’t happen by forcing or pushing ourselves harder. True breakthroughs come from a deeper place within. They come from trusting ourselves enough to push past our comfort zones. It might look the same on the outside, but internally, it’s a completely different experience. For most of us, our biggest block—and our greatest resource—is found inside of ourselves. Freediving has been a huge component in learning how I approach resistance and fear in life and learning how to work with it and not against it has given me a huge amount of confidence and allows me to step into a more fuller version of myself. Nature-Assisted Coaching: Walking Coaching As part of my evolving 'Wild Within' initiative, (more to come)?I'm excited to introduce my new offering for clients - Walking Coaching. Why Walking Coaching? I think most of us can recognise the damaging effects on our health by sitting in front of a screen all day. However, using walking as part of a coaching tool also acts as a powerful metaphor for moving forwards and seeing things from a fresh perspective.?By connecting with the body and enabling our natural somatic healing, we put ourselves in our resting state, this allows us to open up our thinking in a far more creative and innovative way, often far more useful solutions, inspiration and ideas.?Being in nature blends movement with mindfulness and self-discovery.
