WRV welcomes Dave Elmore as our new executive director! We couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead. Dave brings over 25 years of nonprofit experience and a deep passion for both our natural environment and the communities that care for it. Before joining WRV, Dave led Paradox Sports, a nonprofit that helps people with disabilities experience the joy of climbing. He’s also worked with Outward Bound California and served as Associate Head of School at Boulder’s Watershed School. Here’s what Dave had to say about stepping into the role: “The mission of building diverse communities that care for the land resonates deeply with me, having personally worked with mission-driven organizations for over twenty-five years. As a conservation and restoration leader, WRV stands out at a time when our natural landscapes need increased stewardship more than ever. To join the Wildlands Restoration Volunteers team is an honor and I’m so excited to be working with such an amazing group of people.” We also want to take a moment to thank Kevin Shuck, who stepped in as Acting Executive Director after Katherine Postelli’s passing. His leadership and dedication have helped guide us through a challenging time. We’re incredibly grateful for all he’s done for WRV!

Wildlands Restoration Volunteers is a non-profit organization that provides an opportunity for people to come together, learn about their natural environment, and take direct action to restore and care for the land. Each year we engage over 1,000 volunteers in more than 150 projects to jump-start nature's healing process across Colorado's Front Range and beyond. Our motto is "heal the land; build community!"
