Yesterday, Wilderness held our first ever event at Havas Media UK. Social Media 2025 looked into what brands can expect from social in the new year with a focus on trends, experiences and communities. We also released the Community Building in 2025 report alongside this! The event featured an incredible brand panel with the likes of TikTok, the LEGO Group, and Women's Professional Leagues. A huge thank you to Melanie Nogueira, Edie Kelly and Sammy King for joining us for our event. We thoroughly enjoyed having you and learnt so much from all of you. As the lead marketing agency for Premiership Rugby, and having worked with the likes of NOW Sport and Intersport across Europe, we understand the power that social media has within the sporting landscape. This powerful tool has also been adopted by fresh thinking female athletes to voice their opinion, increase their visibility, gain big brand deals, and, most importantly, empower other women. Athletes such as Ilona Maher and Simone Biles have been incredible voices on social media and helped change female athlete visibility across a variety of sports. We had the best time hosting another Insiders Day yesterday!?? This has been our third time running the event and it just keeps getting better and better. Our teams from Brixton Finishing School were lucky to be given a most exciting social media campaign brief from Lionsgate - and we loved all the amazing ideas they came up with!??? Well done to all our lovely participants: Jadyn Briggs, Stephanie G., Dimple D., Hebatallah Serry, Tizara Afflick - Parkins, it was such a pleasure to have you with us!??? Also another huge thanks to our judging panel: Lionsgate’s Rosie Southward, Imogen Dodds, Ember Lamas, organic.’s Ellie Graham - and Wilderness - The Social Media Agency’s Tom Jarvis and Safiya Korouie.
