In just over a decade, Wilbur-Ellis has proudly raised over $80,000 for breast cancer research! At the recent Chester Lady Flyers' Dig Pink Night, our employees had the honor of presenting checks and connecting with breast cancer patients and survivors. Jim Reiff, who started this initiative, was inspired by the Lady Flyers’ commitment to breast cancer awareness. Thanks to our Start Strong Stay Strong Pink Seed Program, we donate a portion of our seed treatment sales to organizations like the Edith Sanford Breast Center, Team of Angels, and Liberty's Troops—all dedicated to fighting this cause. Halloween is fun for us humans, but it can be a bit spooky for our pets. ?? Here are a few safety tips to ensure our pets are safe tonight! ?? Chocolate is a No-Go: Even a small amount of chocolate can be toxic to pets. Keep the candy bowl out of paw’s reach! ?? Costume Comfort: Don't force an unwanted costume! If your pet is comfortable, ensure costumes don’t restrict movement, breathing, or visibility. ?? Keep Pumpkin Away from The Pumpkin: Pets might mistake decorative plants for toys - they can also be a fire hazard if tipped over. ?? Microchip or ID: With doors opening frequently for trick-or-treaters, spooked pets may try to slip outside. A microchip or collar with an updated ID tag can help bring them home safely. ??Quiet Zone: Halloween sounds can be overwhelming. Set up a quiet spot where your pet can feel safe and relaxed if the festivities are too much.
