The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation is the state’s largest general farm organization representing farms of all sizes, commodities and management styles. Voting Farm Bureau members (farmers) annually set the policy the organization follows, and are involved in local, state and national affairs making it a true grassroots organization. Members belong to one of 61 county Farm Bureaus, all run by a board of directors made up of people working in production agriculture. Members join for various reasons: to support legislative and public relations efforts, to qualify for member benefits and to support Wisconsin’s farm families.

Young agriculture leaders are invited to apply for Wisconsin Farm Bureau Young Farmer and Agriculturists Awards. Applications are now available for Farming for the Future, Outstanding Agriculture Professional and 35 Under 35 awards. ?? The Farming for the Future Award recognizes members who own or work on a farm. ???? The Outstanding Agriculture Professional Award recognizes members who have an off-farm career. ?? Jenn Rittenhouse has been hired as Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation’s District 4 Coordinator in west-central Wisconsin! Rittenhouse will be responsible for working with county Farm Bureaus to develop and implement programs to serve Farm Bureau members and to coordinate membership recruitment and retention efforts. She will be serving the counties of Buffalo, Eau Claire, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe and Trempealeau. “Jenn’s Farm Bureau background, her enthusiasm and her diverse agricultural experience will serve her well as she takes on the role of District 4 Coordinator,” said WFBF’s Executive Director of Member Relations Bob Leege. ??
