Quality education and networking are vital to the delivery of compassionate care in the long term care continuum. Our organization continues to support educational offerings to nursing students who have a passion and commitment to pursuing a career in long term care through our scholarship program. Each year The WI D.O.N. Council provides $1000 scholarships to those who demonstrate this passion and commitment. We welcome your active involvement and invite you to participate in our educational events, provide articles for newsletters, join our working committees or just provide feedback to the issues that are affecting you.

Have you ever thought "if only I gave myself permission to take the time to do it right the first time?"- the time it would have saved, may be the adverse event it would have prevented, the medical error it would have prevented, and the leadership is would have displayed.
