November is National Runaway Prevention Month. It’s time to raise awareness of the challenges faced by young people who have run away or are experiencing homelessness while also providing them with hope and the resources they need to find safe and stable housing. At Wichita Children’s Home, our Street Outreach Services bring “humanity to the streets” by providing necessities like food and clothing to youth experiencing homelessness or unstable housing. Our dedicated outreach staff works to build healthy relationships, offering support and understanding to guide these youth toward safety and stability. #nationalrunawaypreventionmonth #runawayprevention #nrpm

Wichita Children’s Home is working to create a better future for youth in our community through. Our CrossRoads Emergency Shelter and Drop-In Center provides essential services and resources for youth in crisis who are experiencing homelessness, have runaway, or are at risk of trafficking and exploitation.
