Women in Business was honored to collaborate with Council of Black Students in Admin (CBSA) OSU to host an inspiring Black Women in Business Panel. We were grateful to welcome two incredible speakers, Mae Smitherman-Smith, MBA and Terina J. Matthews-Davis, who shared their experiences and insights on leadership, resilience, and success as Black women in business. A huge thank you to Fifth Third Bank and The Office of ACCESS for sponsoring this event and supporting our mission to empower women in business!

This past Friday, Women in Business hosted the 5th Annual Charity Gala, bringing together our community to support an incredible cause. Thanks to the generosity of our attendees and donors, over $6,500 was raised for Femergy?, an organization dedicated to empowering young women through education, leadership, and advocacy. A huge thank you to our VP of Philanthropy, Anusha Kathiravan, and the entire Gala Committee for their dedication in planning such a successful event. Your hard work made this night truly special! Last night, we hosted our annual Women in Business Case Competition! Participants had the opportunity to tackle real-world business challenges, collaborate with peers, and refine their problem-solving skills in a dynamic and engaging environment. A huge thank you to Enterprise Mobility for sponsoring the competition and for serving as judges—we appreciate your support in empowering future business leaders! My involvement with Women in Business at OSU will forever be a highlight of my college experience, especially getting to work closely with our wonderful advisor Jen Knox Shanahan. From finance experts like Pooja Chitkara (Spotify) to creative strategists like Kara Ladd, we left feeling empowered and excited to bring back these insights to our WIB community!
