We heard from inspiring leaders like Mari Llewellyn (Founder of Bloom Nutrition), Hannah Yang (Chief Growth and Customer Officer at The New York Times), and entrepreneurs like Rosie Jane Johnson (by/rosie jane), Annie Lawless (Lawless Beauty), and Danielle Atkins (Kulani Kinis). From finance experts like Pooja Chitkara (Spotify) to creative strategists like Kara Ladd, we left feeling empowered and excited to bring back these insights to our WIB community! Our sixth annual Business Bootcamp officially wrapped up earlier this week with our Networking Night, and it was another incredible success! ?? Over the course of 6 weeks, our participants developed key personal and professional skills that will serve them throughout their careers. We had 52 graduates this year, and we couldn’t be prouder of the hard work and dedication shown by everyone involved! Here’s a quick look at what we accomplished: ? Welcome! Resume & LinkedIn Workshop – Students learned how to build powerful resumes and LinkedIn profiles.? ? Personal Branding & Resume Review sponsored by Kohl's – Participants received personalized feedback on their resumes. ? Becoming a Leader 101 with Rachel (Pollard) Moore – Leadership insights from the Partner at Goldilocks.? ? Winning the Interview Process sponsored by PwC – Tips straight from PwC recruiters on how to ace interviews.? ? Expanding Our Networks & Professional Dress – Students honed their networking skills and learned the importance of professional attire. ? Networking Night – Graduates put everything into practice, connecting with professionals and alumni. WIB had a fantastic afternoon at the 21st Annual Fisher College of Business’ Diversity Awards Reception and Luncheon. This year, we nominated Kohl's for their unwavering and generous support to ensuring the advancement of women into business and leadership through their sponsorship of WIB. During the ceremony, we were ecstatic to hear that Kohl’s had won the 2024 Overall Corporate Award, recognizing their concerted efforts to advancing Fisher’s students!
