Through WHYY-FM 90.9, WHYY-TV 12 and WHYY.org, we reach 1.3 million people on average each week in the Greater Philadelphia area. We offer a robust regional news service supported by an award-winning newsroom, home to Billy Penn, PlanPhilly and the WHYY Climate Desk. We are deeply committed to the needs of young people. Many people’s first experience with WHYY is watching our award-winning PBS Kids television programs as a child. We also teach thousands of kids to make videos in 40+ local schools and at our studio. We bring together people in the region for interesting and fun events in person and online.
