Future stars in the making! ? Gila River Indian Community Youth participated in a clinic led by Gabby Barker and Maria Fassi today at Whirlwind Golf Club at Wild Horse Pass. From perfecting their swings to building confidence on the course and supporting one another, everyone embraced the game with energy and excitement. Now, they can’t wait to get back out on the course this week to watch today’s superstars compete at the LPGA Ford Championship, March 27–30.

The Interim Board of Directors at Gila River Development welcomes the 2025 Ford Championship Presented by Wild Horse Pass hosted by the LPGA, highlighting this notable move to Whirlwind Golf Club, located on Wild Horse Pass’ 3,300-acre master-planned development. The biggest attraction for the LPGA team was the large footprint of the property. With its high acreage, it allows for accessibility to the course and ample parking for eventgoers. Additionally, there are various commerce and leisure spots around the property including the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass, Gila River Resorts & Casinos- Wild Horse Pass, Firebird Motorsports Park, Rawhide Western Town & Event Center, Buck-N Rodeo Grounds, Gila Gas & Goods, Phoenix Premium Outlets, KOLI Equestrian Center, Radford Racing School and Huhugam Heritage Center.
