Lead Power Systems (EE/PE) Engineer-Houston, TX-$150-200,000 I'm working with a leading integrated solutions company to hire a senior-level electrical engineer to lead their power systems studies. (I am also looking for a mid career candidate as well) Responsibilities: -Conduct or oversee the production of power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, harmonic, and arc flash hazard analysis as well as protective device coordination. -Develop, modify, and validate electrical system models using industry-standard software tools (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, SKM). -Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise and solutions. -Build accurate models of power systems to simulate and assess the behavior of electrical grids under both normal and fault conditions. -Assist and review the development of proposals, feasibility studies, and project reports. -Stay up to date with the latest advancements in power systems engineering and actively contribute to the team's knowledge base. Requirements: -Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.? 5-7 years of experience in power systems engineering or a related field.
