This is incredibly difficult, and not something I ever saw myself writing, but after much thought and deliberation, it is with a heavy heart that I announce my resignation as President of Who I Am Foundation, effective immediately. After 11 1/2 years, I am incredibly humbled and grateful for the opportunity the organization has provided me. The opportunity to meet so many amazing volunteers throughout the years, in the many communities, cities, and states I have had the pleasure of helping build teams in. The privilege of empowering others by fostering new possibilities. Since day one, I have always said that all credit goes to the incredible and dedicated volunteers, the fuel of the organization. I sincerely thank each and every one of you for not only believing in the mission, but also for helping bring the vision to life. While I won't go into specifics, it's clear that the Founder/CEO and I have differing views on the direction of the organization and how to operate. When you're told you're replaceable, it signals it's time to move on. I’ve never sought or needed recognition or credit, but the impact of my efforts and contributions speaks for itself. Thank You to every individual who has supported the journey and impact of Who I Am Foundation over the years—volunteers, donors, community partners, and all who have contributed in any way. This isn't the end of my journey or commitment to the community, my passion remains as strong as ever. It's simply the closing of a chapter that has been a deeply meaningful and significant part of my life for the past decade plus. I'll be taking the month of January off to reflect and recharge as I explore and consider some exciting new opportunities. After being deeply involved in nearly every event and project in Phoenix over the past nine years, it's time for me to step back, recalibrate, and prepare for the next chapter ahead. It has never been about who I am, only Who I Am. Stay tuned....

Our mission is to be as proactive in the community as possible constantly retrieving feedback to continuously advance as new community issues arise. We believe our tri-annual campaigns are the most effective way to address the issues our communities are facing. The Foundation's mission is to raise awareness and provide outreach throughout the community via various events, projects, and campaigns. We bring the community together to create the change they wish to see in their community. The organization is predominately focused on bettering our communities nationwide. Our goal is to help each individual we connect with define who he or she is by making available the proper resources. Each year our communities grow further and further apart. Resources are available however; the public does not recognize many of those available resources. Who I Am Foundation is constantly organizing community events and projects. At least 2-3 times a month we hit the streets and hand out care packages to the less fortunate. Care packages typically consist of clothing, food, hygiene bags, first aid supplies, bottled waters, socks, shoes, blankets, jackets, etc. For more information on the Foundation, feel free to visit our website www.WhoIAmFoundation.org Follow us on Twitter: @teamwhoiam Follow us on Instagram: teamwhoiam Like us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/WhoIAmFoundation

Another GREAT video made by D.Tillery Photography showcasing our amazing Who I Am Foundation volunteers in #Phoenix, along with Crisco Kidd Block Party, Crisco's Kids, JJO Charities, and Any Lab Test Now (Metro Phoenix, AZ), as they hosted our 5th Annual Santa's Sack Holiday Drive Thru event at the Walmart on 51st Ave and Indian School Rd in Maryvale! During this event, our volunteers handed out over 800 toys, 500 PetSmart stuffed animals, books and bookmarks, beverages, Holiday trinkets, candy canes, snacks, and other holiday treats to the families that registered and came out! All toys were collected during Who I Am Foundation's 9th Annual Holiday Toy Drive in Phoenix, as well as Crisco Kidd & JJO's 3-day 18th Annual Ton of Toys & Holiday Food Drive! Huge Thank You to Will Hernandez from the Arizona Cardinals and Mijo Things for coming and handing out over 200 footballs, signing autographs, and taking pictures!? Huge Thank You to Walmart, 101.1 The Bounce, Showcase Honda, Go The Phoenix Suns Gorilla, Marcus "Maniac" McGhee, The Roy Lopez Foundation, Desert Financial, Torchy's Tacos, and Ultimate Birdgang Warrior for coming out! Huge Thank You to all of our amazing volunteers who sorted and wrapped toys during the days leading up to this event, and all who came out to help during the event! We had a goal of 1,011 toys, and surpassed that goal by collecting over 1,300 toys prior to this event, PLUS the 500 PetSmart stuffed animals! We look forward to next year; collecting more toys, helping more families, and putting a smile on more kids' faces! https://lnkd.in/gqQ-7Q4h #TeamWhoIAm_Phoenix

Our last event of the year in #Phoenix, and what better way to wrap up the year than by helping to put a smile on the face of so many children, and helping so many families. Back to back record years for Who I Am Foundation with our Toy Drive in Phoenix! Together with Crisco's Kids and JJO Charities, this year surpassing our goal of 1,011 toys, and totaling over 1,300!! Plus, 500 PetSmart stuffed animals! None of it would be possible without the support of our volunteers and community partners! All credit goes to those who played any part in collecting, donating, wrapping, sorting, or labeling the toys, and those who came out to volunteer during our 9th Annual Santa's Sack Holiday Drive Thru or Crisco Kidd & JJO's 18th Annual Ton of Toys Drive! We were also able to donate toys to Arizonans for Children, as well as Stonepoint Community Church's The Gift of Hope Christmas Service, and Copper State Credit Union's toy drive for The Foster Alliance - Arizona Helping Hands! #TeamWhoIAm_Phoenix
