We connect donors & doers to advance WHO's mission and create a world where everyone, everywhere can live healthy lives.
关于我们
Millions of people have little or no chance of good health, simply because of where they were born, live, or work. At the WHO Foundation, we think that’s unfair and must change. We are working to improve the situation by connecting donors with amazing organizations on the ground whose projects are making a huge difference to people’s lives. Our links with the WHO mean we can make these connections all over the world, ultimately making healthcare fairer. While we share WHO's vision of a world where health knows no boundaries, the WHO Foundation operates independently.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us at #COP29 for this panel on the vital role of public, private, and philanthropic partnerships in addressing the impacts of climate change. Our CEO, Anil Soni, joined Dr. Ikram Rustamov, Natavan Mammadova, and moderator Dr. Kadri Ozen, MD, MBA to highlight how climate change is a global health challenge. From extreme heat and food insecurity to the spread of diseases like malaria and cholera, these crises require innovation and cross-sector collaboration to ensure equitable access to health care for all. Special thanks to the Firuza Foundation for the photos. Wishing everyone a wonderful rest of the week!

Social isolation and a lack of social connections have serious health impacts on individuals, communities, and economies. Loneliness increases the risk of physical and mental health issues, including heart disease, strokes, diabetes, dementia, depression, anxiety, and suicide. We’re grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the World Health Organization and partners to address the global impact of isolation and work towards building stronger, more connected, and healthier communities. Check out this video, featuring insights from Etienne Krug and Andy Pattison, and if you have any questions about this project, feel free to reach out to our partnership manager, Alexa MacLean. Thank you!
