WHLC recently celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for Lady of the Sea's total replacement hospital alongside the Cut Off community and DonahueFavret Contractors, Inc. This ceremony marks a huge milestone for the community, which has been without a permanent hospital since 2021 when the previous facility endured catastrophic damages due to Hurricane Ida. Angelle Lavergne Terry, AIA, ACHA spoke during the ceremony and shared that the design team identified structural integrity, storm resiliency, and high-performance aesthetically pleasing spaces as guiding principles. The hospital will be built to last and serve as a symbol of the community's resilience and determination. We are excited to see progress continue toward providing this community access to a brand-new space to receive the care they need and deserve. Swipe to see what’s to come for the new hospital and for groundbreaking photos!

Our Interior Design team recently completed a full interior renovation for the Thibodaux Regional Pediatric Clinic. Working alongside the clients and physicians, our design team aimed to create a calming and inviting space that turns doctor visits into a more enjoyable experience for everyone. This goal was achieved through carefully selected paint colors, custom acoustic wall panels throughout, and fun, engaging wallcovering in each exam room. We are proud to have worked on this project and to continue to support the Thibodaux Regional Health System in elevating the healthcare experience.?
